Data Deletion Instructions
How to disconnect Meta accounts or request deletion of your Elixir Boards data.
Request complete deletion
Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account. Use the subject Elixir Boards Data Deletion Request.
Email deletion requestDisconnect Facebook and Instagram
- Sign in to Elixir Boards.
- Open Tools → Social.
- Find the relevant Facebook Page connection.
- Select Disconnect and confirm.
Disconnecting removes the encrypted Page access token held by Elixir Boards and prevents future Facebook or Instagram publishing through that connection. Existing posts already delivered to Meta remain on Facebook or Instagram until you delete them there.
Remove permission through Facebook
You can also remove Elixir Boards from Facebook's Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations. Removing the integration revokes Meta access but does not, by itself, delete your Elixir Boards account or workspace content. Use the email process above for complete deletion.
What to include
Include your Elixir Boards account email and state whether you want deletion of:
- Only Facebook and Instagram connection data;
- A particular workspace or social account; or
- Your complete Elixir Boards account and associated personal data.
Do not send passwords, access tokens, payment-card information, or your Meta App Secret.
What happens next
We will acknowledge the request, verify that you control the relevant account, and normally complete a valid deletion request within 30 days. We will delete or anonymize applicable account information, connected-account metadata, encrypted publishing tokens, unpublished schedules, and user content, subject to legal obligations and the rights of other workspace members.
Limited information may remain temporarily in protected backups, security logs, transaction records, or records we must retain by law. Backup copies are removed through normal retention cycles and are not used for ordinary product operations.
